Custom Kitchen Design & Cabinetry on Long Island
A kitchen built the way furniture is built: inset doors, hand-fitted drawers, solid-wood face frames and an island you would happily eat at every night.

Chris designs and builds kitchens from the first measurement to the last piece of crown. The cabinets are made in the Oakdale shop as furniture-grade boxes with dovetailed drawers, inset or overlay doors as the house demands, pull-out pantries, appliance panelling and the built-in seating, hutches and window seats that make a kitchen feel as if it had always been there.
The portfolio includes painted Shaker kitchens with soapstone and butcher-block tops, a dark walnut-and-black kitchen with a fourteen-foot island, cherry kitchens with glass-front uppers, and older kitchens rebuilt around existing tile and beams. Because the cabinetmaker is also the installer, the work fits: scribed to out-of-square walls and old floors, which on Long Island is most of them.
Kitchen design on Long Island usually means working with an existing house. Chris will measure, draw the plan and elevations, and coordinate with your contractor, plumber and electrician, or handle the finish carpentry and installation himself.
